Welcome to favorcrew. These terms are the agreement between you and favorcrew for using the service. Please read them. By creating an account, you agree to them.
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into this agreement. You agree to provide accurate information about yourself and your dog, and to keep it up to date.
favorcrew is a community for sharing dog walks through friends and friends of friends, not strangers. Walks are arranged as favors between members. favorcrew does not process payments, and no money should change hands for walks arranged through favorcrew. favorcrew is not a marketplace, an employer, or a professional dog-walking service, and members are not our employees or contractors.
Before anyone walks your dog, favorcrew asks both people to meet in person at a meet and greet. This is a core part of how favorcrew keeps things trusted and comfortable.
You are responsible for your own decisions about who you connect with, meet, and share walks with. In particular:
favorcrew provides a way for neighbors to connect. We do not perform background checks, we do not supervise meet and greets or walks, and we are not present for them. You understand that meeting new people and caring for animals carries inherent risks, and you agree that you take part at your own risk. You are responsible for your own safety, the safety of your dog, and your conduct toward others.
You agree not to use favorcrew to harass, deceive, or harm others, to misrepresent yourself, to arrange paid services, or to break the law. We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these terms or that put the community at risk.
You keep ownership of the information and photos you add. You give favorcrew permission to display them within the app as needed to run the service. Do not upload anything you do not have the right to share.
You can stop using favorcrew and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end access if these terms are violated or if it is necessary to protect the community.
favorcrew is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent allowed by law, favorcrew is not liable for the actions of members, for what happens during meet and greets or walks, or for indirect or incidental damages arising from your use of the service.
We may update these terms as favorcrew grows. If we make a meaningful change, we will update the date above. Continuing to use favorcrew after a change means you accept the updated terms.
