favorcrew helps neighbors share dog walks through people they already trust. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. We keep it short and plain on purpose.

What we collect

When you create an account and set up your profile, we collect:

• Your name and email address.
• Your general home area and ZIP code, which we use to show nearby people in your circle. We do not collect or store your exact address.
• If you have a dog: your dog's name, size, age, breed, and an optional photo.
• If you walk: a short optional bio and your general weekly availability.
• An optional profile photo.
• Your phone number, only if you choose to add it. Your number is shared with another member only when you tap to share it for a specific meet and greet or walk, so the two of you can coordinate on the day.

We also keep basic records of your activity on favorcrew, such as connections you make, meet and greets, and walk requests, so the app can show you your schedule and requests.

How we use it

We use your information to:

• Run the core features: showing people in your circle, coordinating meet and greets, and scheduling walks.
• Send you email notifications about activity that involves you, such as a walk request or a meet and greet reply.
• Keep favorcrew safe and working, including preventing abuse.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.

How information is shared

favorcrew is built around trusted connections, so some of your profile is visible to people you are connected with:

• People in your circle can see your name, profile photo, general area, and, if you have a dog, your dog's profile.
• Your phone number is never shown by default. It is shared only when you explicitly choose to share it for a specific meet and greet or walk.
• We use trusted service providers to run favorcrew, including our hosting and database provider and our email provider. They process data on our behalf and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.

We may disclose information if required by law, or to protect the safety of our members.

Email and your choices

We send transactional emails about your account and activity. Every notification email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can re-subscribe at any time. Some essential emails, such as sign-in links, are required to use the service.

Your data and your rights

You can view and edit your profile information at any time from your profile page. If you would like to access or delete your account and associated data, contact us at accounts@favorcrew.com and we will help.

We keep your information for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we remove your personal information, except where we are required to keep limited records by law.

Security

We use reputable providers and standard safeguards to protect your information. No online service can be perfectly secure, but we work to keep your data safe and to limit what we collect in the first place.

Children

favorcrew is for adults. You must be at least 18 years old to use it. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes

We may update this policy as favorcrew grows. If we make a meaningful change, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, let you know.
